Dr Riha completed his medical studies at the University of Innsbruck. In 2005 he started his clinical training at the University Clinic Salzburg and submitted his thesis on the subject « Congenital Cataract » the same year. Already during his qualification he specialized himself in the field «refractive surgery» and completed his professional formation at the renowned eye center «Sehkraft» in Cologne under the direction of the well-known eye laser specialist Dr M. Maus.

In 2015 he was named by the reputed professional magazine «The Ophthalmologist» as one of the 40 most important ophthalmologists in the world under 40 – see Link: https://theophthalmologist.com/power-list/2015/

As the first physician from the German-speaking world, in 2015 he completed the Physician-CEO course at the well-known Kellogg School of Management in Chicago. Dr Riha is the author of numerous publications and often participates as a speaker at international congresses. His scientific focus is in the domain of refractive surgery and correction of presbyopia.

Dr Riha is exercises his activity as a medical specialist in Austria, Germany and Switzerland and is in demand especially for the field «correction of eye-sight defects » as a laser surgeon experienced in the various surgical techniques and laser systems.
